Early Stage of My Website Development Experience
In 2017, I started to create a new e-commerce website. At that time, I am a newbie in constructing a website.
Difficulties
At that time, it is a challenge for me since I know nothing about choosing hosting, domain, and the best platform to start my work. I acquire all the WordPress development skillset on the web but come across different difficulties:
- The information is not up to date as WordPress is updating date by date.
- Some of the Web said that they are the most suitable plugin for my situation, but not.
- Not familiar with how the website work. Therefore, I mistakenly deleted the whole website.
Curious about the world of E-Commerce
Just a normal e-commerce website is sufficient?
Just an e-commerce website would not generate profit by itself. I would like to know how to create value for a product to attract customers’ wants and buy the product offered by us. Therefore I participate in a marketing course and try to apply the knowledge learned in constructing the e-commerce website.

I have come across many failures in developing WordPress websites, including the whole website corrupted, multi-language issues, and so on. But after each problem, I could gain a lot of useful knowledge to build a better website. And now, I have equipped experiences in handling conflicts between WordPress and plugins.

Professional Skillset
Studying in a Bachelor’s degree in computing enables me to learn not only how to code but also being a good programmer. I have learned how to code with PHP, js, jquery, HTML, CSS, and so on.
Job Experience
Beside developing WordPress Websites, I got a taste for being a real programmer in tech company. I have my internship in BroadLearning Education (Asia) Ltd. in 2020, the company that created Eclass (a web platform for e-learning and school intranet). My job is debugging and creating new functions to improve users (mostly teachers) efficiency in admin stuff or preparing teaching materials. I am a good team player in my team and able to effectively provide solutions according to clients / my leader’s requests.
